Most commercial banks deal with SME’s, where there is an absence of publicly available information to track current performance and estimate future performance.

In this context, customer level data such as Monthly current asset statements, quarterly performance updates, limit utilization, limit excess and overdraft reports are integral to assess signs of stress.
