What We do
Viridyan Technologies provides actionable operational insight, data monetization and delivers tangible business outcomes through enterprise data analytics products and consulting services
Water Treatment Experience
Effluent water quality has always been a key driver for the waste water treatment industry. While new standards over the years have sought to improve the quality, point source discharges continue to be a significant contributor to degradation of surface water quality. Plant operators have invested in technology and equipment to help better manage water quality and discharge levels. As a result there has been a dramatic increase in operational costs such as energy consumption, cost of chemical treatment of sewage and green house gas controls. As plant operators try to balance quality standards, discharge levels, emissions and operational costs, the need to automate optimization and dynamically and efficiently manage the day to day running of the plant is fast becoming an essential requirement.
Sustainability Analytics
Using enterprise analytics and predictive modeling techniques, Viridyan is identifying and measuring key factors that contribute to the sustainability of a wastewater treatment facility.
We create a standardized approach to defining metrics, collecting data, and making calculations. It will help wastewater treatment plants define their current carbon and ecological footprint as they take timely and truly effective steps towards reducing impact.
Enterprise Risk Management
There is no exact science for measuring risk. Using enterprise analytics, Viridyan has built measurement parameters that can help establish and examine likely risk scenarios. From there, it’s easier to understand the potential impact of a risk – and start planning around it. We have determined a baseline of data for measuring risk across the organization by pulling together many strands of risk into one unified system.
Historically, analytics has been synonymous with business Intelligence – knowing the facts and reporting past and current performance. But today, there is a need to perform risk analytics that is more focused on data exploration, segmentation, statistical clustering, predictive modeling, event simulation and scenario analysis.
Our approach to assessing, preventing and modeling risk uses all these techniques and revolutionizes the way risk is reported and its impact is quantified and eventually mitigated.
